Blog #6

This is my first time blogging and familiarizing myself with the resource. I enjoy the process of producing a post and how easy it is to use. I wish though it was more efficient in displaying the blogs and organizing them. I enjoyed learning a new resource that I am able to use in the future. It gave me a glimpse into a new way of expressing your ideas and sharing with others.

A Web 2.0 tool that I use the most often would be Google Docs. This is a resource I have grown up using and feel the most confident in. It will definitely be a tool I use in my future with teaching whether used for keeping my notes or writing up lesson plans. It has many features and can be used on a daily basis. It allows me to keep all of my items in one place.

To be honest I never really used Generative AI. It was almost something that always scared me a little especially within school. I never felt the need to use it. Thus, I have always steered away from using something like that. But, I have recently learned how it can be beneficial to use such as creating lesson plans. It can provide information and help give you inspiration.

In the future, I think I would use Generative AI for when I need help with a lesson plan. It can be beneficial to get inspiration for how to conduct or organize a lesson. To address ethical issues, I would be direct with my students about the negative side with AI in regards to cheating and plagiarism. But also, explain how AI can be used as a tool for creating inspiration. There needs to be that understanding of the positive and negative ways AI can be used.
