 Due to the large impact of social media on our generation at such an early age I have become very familiarized with Instagram and Pinterest. Instagram has been an app where I can connect with others as well as creates a space where I can express myself. Pinterest gave an outlet for creativity and inspiration. These platforms can be beneficial because they provide resources for my future career in teaching. It allows me to give insight on current teachers and tips to help me. Also, it gives material on lessons that can be used for my lesson planning in the future.

Growing up, I feel as though I grew up in a digitally rich school. In elementary school, teachers prioritized exposing us to technology with the basics. They wanted to familiarize us with it which ultimately I believed benefitted us for the future. It made me more comfortable with using technology in the most efficient way possible in school. I do believe the school system could have gone more in depth with different way technology can be used within schooling specifically in high school. In my highschool, I felt like teachers stayed in a box with resources that we had used. Thus, wishing we expanded on technology more to further benefit me in the future.

Google Slides as well as Google Docs will definitely be implemented in my future classroom. It was a resource I grew up with and I feel it as though is the most efficient to display and distribute information. In the future, I want to use Google Slides to create a slideshow presenting our to-do list for the day. The tools that come with these two platforms allow you to monitor when each assignment was worked on as well as who contributed within collaborative work. Thus, it will help with management to eliminate cheating and making sure everyone does their part. A lesson I might do in the future would be group work where they must create a slideshow expressing their topic. This platform makes it easier to collaborate with others and to show their ideas in a visual way.
